Olajide and Adeyamade’s wedding was never going to be a quiet country wedding. Nigerian weddings are known for their colour and vibrancy, and this day certainly didn’t disappoint. Their ceremony was at the resplendent Huddersfield Town Hall, which I love shooting at for all it’s light, grandeur and high ceilings, followed by the reception at a local Huddersfield community centre. I don’t usually eat whilst I’m working – but I was ‘seriously arm twisted’ into taking a brief break and enjoying a quick taster of some authentic Nigerian food – very nice indeed. Then it was quickly back to work. The colourful head scarves denote which family the guest is from – pink for bride, blue for groom. Colour, singing and dancing, this wedding had it all. Congratulations to you both.
