After the last of confetti has been swept up and your wedding dress has been put back on the hanger, there is very little you actually take away with you after a wedding. Of course the most important thing you will have is each other and some amazing memories.
One thing you will have is your wedding photography, a unique story of your amazing day that you will have forever. It’s often overlooked that your wedding photographs are not just for you and your family – they will be handed down to future generations and are an important record of your family.
It’s always my aim at a wedding to capture all of the amazing moments that make up your day. Many moments you won’t see on the day, but they will be there forever in your photos. The majority of my coverage is relaxed, candid and discreet – but I still like to capture several group shots – for the reasons mentioned above.
Some wedding photographers also approach the bride and groom shots as a full-on fashion shoot – taking the couple away from their guests for far too long. I approach it differently and only take the bride and groom away for their photos for a short amount of time, to locations I’ve researched before – I even check in advance where the sun will be for the best light. Time is precious on your wedding day.
Get in touch if you’d like to meet up and discuss how I can capture your amazing day. One day, a lifetime of memories.
